Welcome to Brooks Optical

I had a great experience at Brooks Optical today. I normally have a very hard time finding glasses I like or that don't look weird on my face, but they had a very good selection of frames, and Sheila was knowledgeable about suggesting frames that would work with the shape of my face. In the end, I found a frame I really liked, and the price ended up being extremely reasonable. (One problem I've had in the past is that the big chains sell super-cheap frames, while a lot of independent opticians have only super-expensive ones; the ones here were all very moderately priced). I don't have vision insurance, but Sheila very helpfully told me that I could get a discount with my medical insurance instead, and the discount was close to half off. The final price I paid struck me as a real bargain, and the customer service was terrific. I'm glad I happened to live next to this place and gave it a try.
